DUPLICATIONS
For
more than 25 copies, WKU Educational Telecommunications
will send master to a duplicating service and
the client will be charged for shipping and duplication.
There is a wide array of packaging available, but
all expenses will be charged to client. WKU Educational
Telecommunications will store the master in-house
videotape library. A back-up master will be sent
to University Archives. The client shall receive
two VHS copies as part of project. There is a charge
for additional duplications. The client is entitled
to all source video material upon reimbursement
of all videotape costs associated with the project.

COPYRIGHT
AND ANCILLARY RIGHTS
In
the boxes below, describe the rights you wish to retain
and the reason. Any rights not retained by the client
remain with WKU Educational Television Services .
In exchange for rights, the client may be required to
reimburse WKU Educational Television Services for
equipment, time and effort, and materials and supplies.
These rights are associated with primary and other uses
of final project and all material collected during the
project. The DEFAULT selection is list. Simple
type over this to explain your rights.
Classroom
Rights:
A
project that will be used for classroom instruction only.
The project may not required video editing and may be
shot on VHS. Music selection is affected.
Performance
and Presentation Rights:
Public
display that serve to promote a department, an organization,
or the University. The project may not require video editing
and may be shot on VHS. Music selection is affected.
Archival
Use:
Projects
not for classroom use that serve to archives activities
of faculty, students, or staff, a department, an organization,
or the University. The project may not require video editing
and may be shot on VHS. Music selection is affected.
Broadcast
and Cablecast Rights:
WKYU-PBS
may broadcast and offer to other broadcast stations or
cable systems. If these rights are retrain by the client
there may be an added rights fee.
Campus
Cablecast Rights:
WKU
Educational Telecommunications operates two campus cable
systems that may serve to distribute the project to the
campus community. Contact WKU Residence Life for information.
Home
Video and Computer Distribution Rights:
If
these rights are retained by the client there may be an
added rights fee or a revenue-splitting arrangement.
