Winners in this years contest receive a $100.00 U.S. Savings Bond. Honorable Mention winners recieve a $50.00 U.S. Savings Bond. Copies of the 2006 winning entries wil be on display at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Bowling Green and the Bowling Green Public Library after April 17th.

Writing Workshop
More than two dozen youngsters from throughout the area attended a writing workshop Friday, February 24th at Barnes & Noble booksellers in Bowling Green. The budding authors listened intently as WKU professor of art, Yvonne Petkus, shared pointers on telling your story with pictures.
